Residential Landscape Design Shrubs Trees Flowers Flagstone
When our homeowners moved into this home, they craved the beauty their previous home's landscaping provided. To enhance the existing backyard's modern feel, they wanted to add privacy and a colorful palette or ornamental favorites. The poorly-installed and cared-for Oak was removed and replaced with a fast-growning Autumn Brilliance Maple that would, in time, provide much-needed shade to the deck. Existing landscape beds were cleaned and redefined and a new bed was installed along the back property line where the privacy barrier, created with two varieties of Arborvitae, would live. To incorporate texture and color within the beds, Hydrangeas, Lilies, Salvia, ornamental grasses, Coreopsis, and Russian Sage were installed. Oakfield flagstone steppers were added for comfortable access from the deck to the backyard lawn.
