Residential Shrubs Landscape Design Flowers
These avid gardeners enjoy working in their beautiful backyard, but wanted a little guidance when it came to renovating their outdated landscaping in the front. The yews were showing massive bare spots and the junipers were overgrown and worn out. Additionally, the front yard was plain and in need of color. The owners wanted a new look without looking too contemporary.
We expanded the side bed to allow for a new flagstone pathway. An Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry was added for scale and could even be enjoyed from the indoors. The maroon-colored coral bells created balance and unity with the specimen Japanese maple. A mix of colorful shrubs and perennials completed the space. To extend curb appeal, low voltage lighting was added to highlight the home and the two specimen trees.
