The goal of this assisted living facility was to create an interactive and safe space for the residents to enjoy a meal during the beautiful summer months. Handicap access and protection from nearby parking lot traffic were a must. Large pillars were installed using Belgard Highland wall stone in Ashbury Haze to create "posts" for the fence as well as provide depth and scale. The paving stone chosen, Belgard Hollandstone in Ashbury Haze with a Gascony Tan soldier course, was clean and smooth in order to avoid any trip hazards. Lighting, new plantings, and a soothing water feature were installed to complete the space.
