Residential Landscape Design Flagstone Shrubs Flowers Trees
Having completed indoor renovations, this family was ready to tackle the outdoor landscape. Their goals: to create a contemporary landscape that enhanced the architecture of their home while also being sustainable incorporating native plants to support the local flora and fauna. We removed the overgrown and poorly placed plant material, expanded the existing planting area to create one large area, and pruned the existing Serviceberry. Specimen evergreens were installed at key focal points, shrubbery and ornamental grasses were installed to screen the existing A/C as well as create a backdrop for the colorful perennials. A mixture of native and nonnative perennials were finally installed to make sure this space had something in bloom throughout the entire growing season. A flagstone path was placed off of the front sidewalk to lead one to the owner's bench underneath the Serviceberry.
