We build great lawns from the ground up.SM

A lot can happen in 40 years! Who would have thought that in 1986—when we only had three employees and a truck—our employee base would grow to 77 hardworking individuals. Our services have expanded too! It seems like just yesterday when we started out with simply mowing, fertilizing and weed killing. Acquiring the talent that we have has allowed us to expand into hardscaping, landscaping, restoration, meter set protection, pruning, mulching, clean-ups, snow removal, seasonal decorations and more!
Many of our employees have been with us for more than 25 years! That's quite a milestone! Each and every individual who works for LawnCare by Walter plays an important role in our success. Without them, we would not be the LCbW of today. Here's to 40 more years!
It all began in 1986 when Mark Walter—then a manager for Service Master LawnCare—purchased the company and christened it LawnCare by Walter.
LawnCare by Walter enjoyed our annual Summer Sizzle with The Bull 95.3 FM. We fired up the grill and gave away prizes.
LCbW donated $13,000 to St. Jude Hospital and $13,000 to the Easterseals Autism Program, which offers a comprehensive range of services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their support networks.
LCbW cooked up a feast on August 21, 2024, to celebrate this year’s Summer Sizzle. Tunes from The Bull 95.3 FM played while guests tossed bean bags and children bounced in an air-inflated house. Many took home prizes from the event’s raffle.
